We're Here to Promote Responsible Ridership and Give Our Sport a Good Name
About Us
In the late fall of 2006, a small group of off road enthusiasts got together to discuss the future of four wheeling in our little part of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
Traditionally, we have all enjoyed unlimited access for generations to the large tracts of paper and timber company land that makes up the bulk of real estate here in the Northeast Kingdom. But over the last 20 years or so, we have seen these large tracts broken up and sold to private buyers, many of whom immediately restricted access to their newfound piece of the Kingdom.
Areas we once rode freely have steadily dwindled, and No Hunting, No Trespassing, and Keep Out signs were becoming the norm rather than the exception.
To combat the problem, and in attempt to slow the loss of open areas, the group decided to form an A.T.V. Club, with its base in the town of Concord Vermont.
After much discussion, and meetings with some area landowners, the group decided to affiliate the club with V.A.S.A. The Vermont All Terrain Vehicle Sportsman's Association. Both for the support that VASA offers to it's member clubs, but also because VASA serves as a lobbing agency to the State of Vermont and numerous other large landowners. It is V.A.S.A.'s job to not only preserve our off road sports, but to promote safe and responsible trail usage throughout the state of Vermont.

About Us Continued
By April of 2007, our club was formed and incorporated and boasted 70 members, 56 of which were also members of V.A.S.A.
By March of 2008, our club has grown to the second largest V.A.S.A. affiliated A.T.V. club in the state of Vermont, with over 480 members and counting.
Our regular members hail from as far away as California, and many of our out of area members travel to Concord and Lunenburg on a regular basis all summer long to enjoy our system of trails.
The T.O.W.A.T.V. trail system is as diverse as our landscape. Our 100 plus miles of trails climb rocky paths to heights of land with spectacular views of both the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the Green Mountains of Vermont, to peaceful ancient class 4 roads that wind along babbling brooks, to stops along the Connecticut River on Moore Dam Lake.
Many of our trails incorporate the use of town roads, both paved and unpaved, which are open to Vermont registered A.T.V.'s carrying a V.A.S.A. plate and Vermont A.T.V. Club membership.
In addition, those who like it a little on the rough side will find lots of narrow rocky passes, good climbs, and plenty of mud and water, usually well into August.
We hope you'll come and visit us. Club and V.A.S.A. memberships can be picked up locally, and any V.A.S.A. member of an affiliated Vermont A.T.V. Club is welcome to come and ride with us.
See you on the Trails!
