Meeting Minutes
Top of the World ATV Club meeting minutes Jan. 19th, 2008
There were 39 people present, including members and their families. We had a pot luck dinner at 5pm with lots of really good food.
The meeting was called to order at 7:02pm. The secretary’s report was read, motion made by Terry and seconded by Rocky to accept the minutes. The treasurer’s report was read, motion made by Doug and seconded by Bob to accept until audited. Karl read a letter from himself to all present.
Under old business Mark mentioned that for the annual VASA meeting they were told there are 16,830 ATV’s registered in the state of VT, but not all those machines are in VASA. Also, that we (TOW) is the second to biggest club in the state. A really big thanks to Larry Brown for having all the land to help us out with trails. There is still a GPS class being offered on April 12th. Any one wanting info on this they can call the VASA office. The course will be in Montpelier. Mark and Don Kelsey have been working closely together on the GPS with hopes to put a safety course together for us in the spring. Mark also stated that the ’08 registrations are in and available. He also said hopefully we will be putting up a Kiosk, with trail info on it.
Lincoln said we have to work on the VASA trail maps. Where they’re needed we will have to put up signage to coincide with the maps. He also stated that Charlotte Farrow was willing to do our auditing of the ’07 books.
