Top of the World Annual Meeting Minutes Jan. 29th, 2011
There were 11 members and 3 non-members present at the pot luck and meeting
The Secretary’s report was read and accepted; motion made by Chad and seconded by David. The Treasurer’s report was read and accepted pending the auditor’s report; motion made by Chad and seconded by Jimmy.
Lincoln gave the VASA’s report of their annual meeting. He mentioned that the ATV rule was the topic of much of the meeting. He wants all members to show support for the rule so it does not get repealed.
VASA wants 5 volunteers to do the GPS mapping of all trails in VT, so there isn’t any discrepancies on the mapping.
The cost for memberships will be looked at in the future, due to the cost of maps, etc. It won’t go up now; it would have to be voted on next year at the annual for the year 2013.
VASA will be doing another photo contest, they want environmentally friendly photos. VASA will be putting a vague map on the web site.
All clubs will need to make sure the trails are patrolled and monitored by members. Vince Illuzi feels we deserve the chance to prove ourselves loyal
. Lincoln gave his annual report letting everyone know that he is not running for president next year and will help the new president with anything needed. Also, he will remain VASA rep. if wanted and keep the memberships at the point of sales, etc. He would really like to do trail administrator if possible.
