The Treasurer’s report was read and accepted pending the auditor’s report, motion made by Jimmy Kaiser and seconded by David Lunnie.

A motion was made by Jimmy Kaiser to move $3000.00 out of trail savings and put into the trail checking account; it was seconded by David Lunnie.

VASA updates were given by Lincoln. He let us know that they attended the public hearing on State Land. There was a good turn out both in attendance and letters.

The VASA event will be in August, our club is responsible for the food, and a raffle. Other clubs will do other events there.

Old Business:

  • Trail Administrator- Michael Audet is not here to discuss it.
  • Annual Raffle- Lincoln picked up the guns for the raffle and we have tickets available to sell.
  • Jimmy Kaiser rescinded his previous motion to say: move $3000.00 out of the trail savings and put $1500.00 into the regular checking and $1500.00 into the trail checking accounts, motion was seconded by David Lunnie.
  • VEST classes (safety course) that was to take place in St. Johnsbury did not happen with the fact that only 2 children signed up for it. The 2 children that signed up will travel to Barre to take the course on May 21st.

New Business:

  • Rodeo- There is a need to start ordering items for the rodeo.
  • Trail work session- Saturday to start working on the bridge, it was decided to come in from the Leonard Hill side to the bridge for a 10am work group session. Lincoln will pick up the boards and bolts needed for the bridge. We will rent an excavator for the Breezy Meadows trail work for the 4th of June at 9am.
  • Trail maps- Chris Criswell talked about the trail maps that he has been working on, they look great. Thanks Chris for all your hard work.
