Top of the World ATV Club Meeting minutes Nov. 13, 2007
There were 14 members present. The meeting was called to order at 7:06pm. The secretary’s report was read, motion made to accept the minutes by Chad and seconded by Bob. Treasurer’s report was read, motion made by Mike and seconded by Bob to accept. Karl mentioned that his term of treasurer was about up, and that he talked to Debbie Amadon and she is willing to take the position.
Under old business Mark let the members know that after Dana Starr from VASA was convicted of the felonies she took her own life by overdose. VASA figured they were out about $55,000.00. They are looking into getting it back from her estate.
VASA is still looking for the safety course by the first of the year. The club in Franklin county is looking into having a safety course in that area. GPS course is in April. The cost will be $12.00 each per day. Mark has registration forms for the course.
Lincoln has left a message with the landowner by the ski tow but hasn’t heard back yet. T-shirt order forms need to be in as soon as possible, we have some members who would like them for Xmas. Raffle items obtained so far were at the meeting to be seen by all. If anyone can think of any other places we haven’t received stuff from yet, let us know. We have to decide on a price for the raffle tickets.
Meeting Minutes Continued
Lincoln and Mark have talked with Larry Brown and Sid Patridge to get the OK for a trail. Thanks to Larry for helping us with that. Also, Lincoln has talked to Elizabeth Woffard on getting land owner permission for the trail. And she was OK with it, so we can get to North Concord on an easier trail.
Mark mentioned we still need to get the Lunenburg trails on a map. So we can make them VASA trails by next year. But it is too late to send them into VASA to be on the trail map for next year.
Under new business the newsletter will be sent out for November but after that be stopped until March 2008. Copies of the minutes will be typed up and available for all to read at the meetings.
VASA’s annual meeting is Saturday, Jan. 12th,2008 at the Barre Elks Club. They need to elect a President and Secretary.
The Yankee Sportsman Show will be Jan. 19th-21st. They need help from clubs.
We as a cub can have a Christmas Party at Breezy Meadows Campground if we want to.
The meeting closed at 7:47pm motion made by Chad and seconded by Bob.
Next meeting will be December 11th at 7:00pm at the Breezy Meadows Campground Rec. Hall.
Respectfully submitted,
Donna L. Paquette, Secretary
