April Mudhole on Northeast Kingdom Wheeler Trail

At the last meeting on the 11th of April, 18 members and 2 non-members were present.

Trail signs will be put on road signs.

We are having an ATV raffle, for a 2008 Polaris 500HO w/winch. Tickets are $20.00 each and the drawing will be in August. A picture of the ATV is on the website.

There will be kiosks at the Old Foundry and Car Brook, providing the town permits go through.

Thanks to all who helped with Green-Up Day it was a great success.

May 26th is Memorial Day and we are encouraged to join in the event. We will meet at the Old Foundry at 9am with the parade to start at 10am.

On August 2nd we are invited to be in the parade for Lunenburg Old Home Day, the theme is pre 1980’s cartoons. Please come dressed for the occasion.

Mount Washington Ride is on August 3rd anyone interested tickets have to be pre-purchased.

As far as the rodeo, if we do not get a committee set up and someone to head the committee by the May meeting, there will not be a rodeo until 2009!

It was decided to leave the trail open date as April 15th, just please take care when riding. Let the trail administrator know if you come across a trail that is too bad. Trail maps will not be on the website, it was recommended by VASA.

We will be sponsoring the National Honor Society page in the Concord High School year book every year.
