Top of the World ATV Club Trail Reports for the Concord and Lunenburg area of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom

Top of the World ATV Club Concord Vermont Marking Trails in the Northeast Kingdom

TRAILS OPEN! Some will remain Closed see below for more information!

Opening Day 2008. SNOW!

Still Plenty of snow on the Northeast Kingdom Trails!

Some Northeast Kingdom ATV Trails Not Yet Open!

As of May 9th, most of our trails are now open and marked. Bob Tucker spent the weekend on the south side of RTE 2, and everything there is in good shape, but beware the beaver dams, In some areas the water is extremely deep! .There are still some places that are off limits for one reason or another. PLEASE! respect the closed signs and stay off areas not yet open to ATV use!

It is only because of the generosity of the landowners that we have a trail system at all, and some wish to keep the trails on their property closed until they're ready to ride without damage. Respect the signs, and stay off closed trails! Without the landowners, we wouldn't have a club! Let's not loose any trails because of stupidity or lack of respect!

Visit our Forum to find out more about how the season is shaping up!

What IS Open

You can ride the ROADS in open towns if:

  1. If your machine is state registered and carries a valid licence plate.
  2. You've renewed your VASA registration for the new year and the plate and sticker are displayed on your machine.
  3. Your TOWATV (or other Vermont Club) dues are paid up for the new year.

HELP WANTED!

There's brush to be cut, wash-outs to be fixed, maybe even an old bridge or two that didn't make it through the winter.

Contact Bob Tucker our Trail Administrator at 802-695-1049
Email tucker@kingcon.com or Chad Sterling at 802-695-2280 Email sterling@kingcon.com for details and information about what needs to be done, and when.

We appreciate any and all help!

Thanks!

New!Perry Rd. Lunenburg

The water on Perry Rd. off Baptist Hill in Lunenburg is extremely deep this year. Karl and the gang brought the water down by 4 inches or so, but It's still deep enough to float a 500! Use extra care!

Trail Signs

If you see a trail sign down, or thrown over the bank, please stop and put it back. Game Warden Trevor Szymanowski is constantly replacing and repairing signs that are being removed by vandals and could use our help. Remember, if you or anyone is caught riding where you're not supposed to be, posted or not, it's your responsibility to know! It could cost you a couple of hundred bucks and the impounding of your wheeler. These signs are for the benefit of all, and need to be in place! Remember, there's a potential $300.00 fine for removing or defacing a VASA sign!

Check our open and closed areas list for those towns and properties that are closed to ATV use. Riding on any of these areas could cost you!

Northeast Kingdom ATV Trail Reporters Wanted

At TOWATV we have an extensive trail system. Around 100 miles of it, and we travel it thoroughly on a regular basis and report the basic conditions on this page. But, once again, your help and input is vital to our system. We'd love to hear from you about your experiences on our trails. We'd especially like to know if you've found some problems that we have not reported on here. Sometimes things happen between our reports, and we'd like to count on you to help keep us all up to date. Visit our Top Of The World ATV Club Forum, and go to the Trail Report Page to add your two cents worth.

Please send your notes and photos along to us at webmaster@towatv.com, and we'll publish your trail reports and other information.

This club is about all of us, and if all of us share our trail information, we'll have the best ATV trail system in the State of Vermont!

Pack It In, Pack It Out

Last Year we found a lot of spots along the trail with trash and litter spread around. Although I doubt any club member would leave a mess behind, it makes us look bad. Please, leave our trails cleaner than you found them, and if at all possible, clean up any messes you may find. Thanks!
